In theory ok but not really Oct 15, 2009
The concept is great. However, in all reality, this safe just is not sturdy enough. In theory, this safe can be picked up and stolen. The thief has all day to break into it. He probably could do so with a can opener. My advice, splurge on a real safe. The benefits far out weight the price. I bought a more traditional depository safe, and have never been more happy. Let them steel it. It weights over 100 pounds and by the time they would be able to break into it, the chances are the contents would be destroyed, i.e. acetylene torch. I don't have my safe bolted. The sheer weight is a natural deterant.
