Good wall-safe Dec 08, 2009 Good wall-safe - made out of solid & sturdy metal. Easy to setup & program. You may need to use larger #6 or #4 screws for your studs. A little tricky to mount between 16" studs - just make sure you cut the hole the right dimensions and there is plenty of overlap on the face to cover it.

Good Quality Wall Safe Aug 20, 2009 I was very happy with this safe when it arrived. I wanted a secure place to store a weapon that could be quickly opened and not accessable to small children. This safe meets my needs. It opens quickly and comes with backup keys. I personally wouldn't buy one that didn't come with keys. The safe is heavy and feels very solid (like a safe should). One word of advice. Make sure you have enough space between the wall studs before you begin cutting your hole. Measure the hole carefully before cutting. The studs that I placed my safe between were a little too far apart to accomodate the installation bolts that came with the safe. I had to go to Lowes and pick up some longer bolts (they're metric, by the way). The safe fits between regular 2x4 studs on 16 inch center without any problems. A large framed portrait covers the safe nicely. Setting the access code is no problem and changing the code is easy. There's also an indicator light that lets you know when the batteries need replacing.

Nice safe Jun 10, 2009 The safe works great. I have a framed picture hiding it. It is simple and quick to access my handguns with the code or I can use the key I have in another safe if i forget the code.

wallsafe May 05, 2009 I like this product, however I had to return it for non product reasons. I would recommend it as it can easily be placed in the wall and hidden. The delivery was good as advertised.

Wall safe review Nov 24, 2008 The safe is as advertised, a heavyweight steel that is easy to install. It fits easily between studs 16" on center. The lock is easy to set and can be changed easily. The door is not very tight and moves in and out a small bit when locked however does seem secure. I would have liked to have an extra shelf however none was offered even as an accessory.
